James qualified as an osteopath in 2013, graduating fromthe British School of Osteopathy in London after completing a four-year full-time Master’s degree in Osteopathy. Prior to this, he obtained a three-year degree in Sports Therapy with a strong clinical focus on sports injury management and rehabilitation. James is fully registered withthe General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Instituteof Osteopathy.
James began his clinical career working as a Sports Injury Therapist in Hertfordshire and gained valuable experience supporting athleteswithin a leading Premier League football club. Since establishing hisosteopathic practice in the Cotswolds in 2013, he has developed awell-regarded clinical reputation, combining evidence-based osteopathic carewith a strong emphasis on rehabilitation, injury prevention, and long-termself-management.
In 2024, James founded JT Osteopaths, relocating the clinicto its current, purpose-designed premises in Upper Slaughter. The expanded facilities reflect the continued growth of the practice and its commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a professional and welcoming environment.
JT Osteopaths provides assessment and treatment for a wide rangeof musculoskeletal conditions, including back and neck pain, posturaldys function, soft tissue and joint disorders, nerve-related symptoms, andobstetric presentations. With the Cotswolds being renowned for outdoor and equestrian activities, the clinic has extensive experience treating equestrian patients. James regularly works with professional and elite riders competing at the highest levels in Eventing, Dressage, and Show Jumping, alongside leisure riders, walkers, and gym-based clients.
