In 2013 James graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London having completed a 4-year full time master’s degree in osteopathy. He had previously attained a 3-year degree in Sports Therapy with a key emphasis on sports injury and rehabilitation. James is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
In his early career, James worked as a Sports Injury Therapist in Hertfordshire and at a leading Premier League football club. In 2013, James began practicing as an osteopath in the Cotswolds where his osteopathic care is complemented by his professional knowledge of rehabilitation and self-management.In 2024, James founded JT Osteopaths, relocating to its current premises in Upper Slaughter.
JT Osteopaths treats a wide range of patient complaints including back pain, postural issues, soft tissue and joint pain, nerve-related symptoms and obstetric problems. The Cotswolds is also well-known for its outdoor pursuits and, since starting his practice here, James has been able to treat many equestrian patients. As well as sssessing and treating professional and elite riders competing at the top level in Eventing, Dressage and Show Jumping, James looks after leisure riders, walkers and gym enthusiasts alike.
James is passionate about improving the quality of life of his patients through treatment sessions, rehabilitation exercises and minor lifestyle adjustments. He is committed to improving his own technical skill and knowledge base through continued professional development to ensure he is always delivering the best care for his patients.
